If in the middle of our boating adventure we have a mishap, of course in an emergency situation nothing is enough and we have to keep in mind that abandoning the boat is the last resort. Even if we have to activate the life raft, if the boat is still afloat, it is important to stay on board and only cut the line that connects us if the boat sinks. Hence the importance of having our boat tec at hand.
